Propecia Bodybuilding Forum
propecia is a horrible drug, and id avoid it. however if you're female like your status states, then you dont need to worry as much
In December 2008, the Swedish Medical Products agency concluded a safety investigation of Propecia and subsequently advised that the use of Propecia may result in irreversible sexual dysfunction. The Agency's updated safety information lists difficulty in obtaining an erection that persists indefinitely, even after the discontinuation of Propecia, as a possible side effect of the drug.

Works great for quite a few people I know
I know a couple guys who use Rogaine only, and they still have some front receding hairlines, but nothing in the back. The sooner you start to use it, the better. It's best at retaining hair, rather than regrowing it after a couple years of loss.
I also know a couple guys who are doing Rogaine and Propecia. You'd never know that their male relatives are cue-ball baldies.
With the exception of rogaine, most treatments for baldness are by Rx. Avodart and Propecia/Proscar both block DHT; Avodart just does a better job at lowering scalp DHT levels so it might be more effective than Propecia.
Some women (and men) seem to respond to vitamin supplementation and apparently a lot of women respond to Viviscal (I may have misspelled that), although I don't think its FDA-approved or anything.
Men and women both sometimes respond to laser hair treatments, which you can do @ home if you buy a handheld laser device.
Good luck :-)
