Question about Propecia

I've been using the hair-restoration drug PROPECIA for several years and I've had good results. The dosage is 1mg per day. I have found a much cheaper price for it overseas but it only comes as 5mg pills. If I were to take the 5mg dosage every 4 days or so would that be unhealthy? Curently I split the small pill into 4 pieces but it's a pain to do that. Any physician/pharmacist around?
