Propecia 5 Year Graph

Can hairloss really be stopped?

The Best Alternative to Propecia or Finasteride

I’m an NW1 ready to start doing treatments because my frontal is thinning.

Question is, if I do all the treatments and do them diligently, can I really really really stop hereditary hair loss? I think it sounds farfetched..

Or is reality more like I can only slow it down…….

If that’s the truth, how much can I slow it down?

Because once you’re NW2, it is socially noticable that you are going bald, which sucks.

So I want to be NW1 forever…

Depends on your genetics. Some guys will get thicker, some will stay the same, some will decline more slowly. Look at the propecia 5 year graph to see the average. Add nizoral too. Maybe add spiro to your hairline, since it is most likely to bald to strongly for propecia to stop. Do not get on minoxidil until later, if you want more hair. Minoxidil does not maintain at all. It just makes hair thicker while you use it. You’d got bald just as fast as the next guy if you only used minoxidil, but you’d have more hair at any given time than him.

Depends how sensitive your hair is to DHT.

People who bald younger have more sensitive hairs.

No there are much more NW2′s than any other NW. NW2 is the most common hairline, there are planty of teenagers with NW2 hairlines who will probably never go bald.

A solid norwood 1 is completelly unrealistic. Personally i dont think being a norwood 1 forever will look good when your over 30. That type of hairline is generally found in boys and few men. You can even be born a norwood 2 although thats not common.

Tom Cruise is a NW1. I saw an even lower NW1 on a shampoo commercial. It does look good even in old age. Just no point in setting your hopes on something you can’t have. The only way you can have it is if you stop your hairloss, get FUE into your NW1 area, and get BHT into the holes the FUE came from so you don’t thin out your sides too much. Then put more BHT between the NW1 FUE. That is my goal eventually. It can be really expensive though. And the difference between you and me is I’m 29 and have been stable on finasteride and nizoral for almost 6 years now. I know I’m a good responder to minoxidil, I just don’t want to use it right now. I haven’t even tapped thickening shampoos.

Propecia

Propecia is prescribed for BPH (prostate) and hair loss. One side effect is decreased libido. So now you're thinking viagra or levitra.
Propecia doesn't interact with much of anything. Anticholinergics and bronchodilators lessen it's effects, though. Levitra and Viagra don't have adverse reactions with alcohol, but alcohol causes decreased erectile function. Sort of like buying new track shoes and then nailing one foot to the floor.
Viagra and Levitra have different side effects of messing with your heart and blood pressure. But if you're healthy and don't have problems in these areas, all of these drugs should work well together

Propecia is great

I've been using Propecia for 4 years. I used to take showers and would fill the drain with my falling hair. This was some scary sh**. I felt like Samsom losing his hair (ok, minus the muscles). My hair loss has stopped from the vertex area since starting the pills. I saw no results from Minoxidil, only an itchy head, "dandruff" from the chemical residue, and a annoying application procedure. The pills are so easy. No sweat. I think it's funny that people think it's a pain to remember to take the pill. I just look at my head everyday and remember automatically. And believe me, every bald person you see will remind you too! Skipping a pill is almost impossible unless you don't keep your pills handy, like on a quick roadtrip, so I keep some in my car too

These creams include Minoxidil, Propecia and Rogaine. "Because it's an hormonal thing, we have no end of research being done in order to speed the process up for finding treatment for hair loss," Dr Oates explained.
